The Membership Committee oversees all matters related to Cooperative membership, including admissions, orientation, participation, and member engagement. It reviews membership applications, verifies eligibility, and recommends acceptance or denial to the Board in accordance with Cooperative policy. The Committee is also responsible for monitoring member status, facilitating conflict resolution and restorative practices when needed, and developing programs that encourage active participation, education, and mutual support among members. Through these efforts, the Membership Committee ensures that the Cooperative remains inclusive, transparent, and accountable to its member-owners.
The DAO Liaison Committee serves as the primary bridge between the Cooperative’s Board of Directors and its decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) governance systems. The Committee ensures that Cooperative decisions are accurately represented and implemented within the DAO, and that DAO resolutions are properly communicated to the Board and membership. It is responsible for maintaining governance interoperability, coordinating technical and procedural updates to the DAO infrastructure, and advising the Board on matters of digital governance, transparency, and security. The Committee also reviews and reports on DAO proposals that may affect Cooperative policy, structure, or assets.
